Rachel Rubin, MD
Emergency Medicine Physician
Dr. Rubin joined Lake Forest Acute Care in 2020 after bringing her own family to our office and recognizing the value an Urgent Care staffed by ER physicians adds to the community. Dr. Rubin graduated from Rush Medical College in 2002 where she was awarded the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation. She then completed her residency with University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Rubin has practiced Emergency Medicine at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital since 2008.
Dr. Rubin’s favorite part of working at Lake Forest Acute Care is taking care of people in her own community. She likes that everyone at LFAC has the same goal, to treat patients with excellent care and compassion. In her free time, Dr. Rubin enjoys spending time with her children and husband. She enjoys cooking, baking, and entertaining friends. Her favorite thing to do is go on long walks with her labradoodle, Sadie.
