Laboratory testing

Lake Forest Acute Care provides several in-house laboratory tests. These in-house tests give results within minutes so that we can diagnose you as quickly as possible. Our available in-house tests include:

• PCR & antigen COVID-19
• Rapid strep
• RSV
• Influenza A&B
• Mononucleosis ( Mono)
• Urinalysis
• Pregnancy
• Glucose
• Fecal occult blood

Biometric Screening

What is a biometric screening?

Biometric screening measures the physical characteristics such as height, weight, body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose. Often, employers or insurance companies require you to complete one biometric screening per year.

*For biometric screening appointments, bring in any paperwork given to you by your employer or insurance company. If labs are required for your screening, please fast for 8-12 hours prior to your appointment.
