Gene Saltzberg, M.D.
Emergency Medicine Physician
Dr. Saltzberg received his undergrad from University of Illinois: Champaign/ Urbana and his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School. He is board certified with the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Saltzberg was a private practice pediatrician for 5 years and then moved on to practice Emergency Medicine for an additional 38 years. In addition to working at Lake Forest Acute Care, he is a professor at Rosalind Franklin University where he enjoys passing on his years of experience to the next generation of healthcare providers.
Dr. Saltzberg strives to maintain a good work life balance and enjoys golfing, bicycling, and exercising in his free time. He has been married to his wife Bobbi for 34 years and has three children.
